I have over 24 years of experience as a land use consultant securing a variety of entitlements ranging from single-family residential to the preparation of zoning and constraints analysis reports, feasibility analyses, conditional use permits, development plans, and post-entitlement compliance.
I enjoy tackling challenges, continually learning, and being a professional problem solver. I possess a strong understanding of local land use regulations, discretionary review practices, housing policies, environmental review (CEQA), and the local public agencies' project review and approval process. In addition, I possess a firm understanding of zoning, state housing laws, and the subdivision map act.
I assist with the development, environmental, and public review hearing processes and collaborate with property owners, developers, contractors, architects, engineers, landscape architects, and public agencies to secure approvals for residential, commercial, and institutional projects. I frequently interface with local public agencies in the County of Santa Barbara, the Cities of Santa Barbara, Goleta, Carpinteria, Solvang and Buellton.
